Grandma's 85th Birthday Party

WOW.....I haven't posted in a while....but then again I haven't been that crafty lately (rolls eyes)

My darling husband's Grandmother recently turned 85 and she threw herself a big birthday party. Now before I get comments asking why she threw the party herself, there is one simple answer....because she wouldn't let anyone throw it for her. :) She did, however, ask me to make her some (50) boxes to put goodies in at the tables. Sooooooo I looked at my Gypsy and found a very cute box on my Tags, Bags, Boxes and More Cricut cartridge. She really likes roses and pink. So after she gave me a napkin to go by, I found the perfect cardstock and set forth on the task of cutting out 50 boxes. Thankfully I was able to cut 2 boxes out of one 12x12 sheet of cardstock.

After cutting them out I stamped and embossed the words Thank You on one side, used some Frosted Lace Stickles on the petals for some dimension and bling (and what woman doesn't like bling??????). Then I stamped the roses on the boxes sides and assembled away.

Here is the finished product....

DH's cousin Kristi took this one on the napkin...I forgot!
This is the card that I made for Grandma with the little flowers that she tatted for me. :)
Here is the whole gang at the party!
All in all, it was a wonderful party as we got to visit with family that we don't get to see too often (usually only at funerals). So it was nice!

Thanks for looking! :)
